Trichloroisocyanuric Acid (TCCA90)-
Trichloroisocyanuric acid (TCCA) is one of the series products of chlorinatedisocyanuric acid, referred to as TCCA. The pure product is powder-like white crystals, slightly soluble in water, easily soluble in organic solvents, and the content of active chlorine is 2-3 times higher than that of bleaching powder. The three wastes are much lower than bleaching essence. It has the characteristics of high sterilization and bleaching power, long release time of available chlorine in water, safety and non-toxicity. Swimming Pool Algaecide can be used in water treatment, especially in swimming pool water treatment, drinking water treatment, algae removing of industrial circulating water, treatment of industrial or city sewage, disinfection of petroleum well drilling slurry and sewage and production of seawater cells. You can also use Sodium hypochlorite as an alternate option to do the same.
Alum-
The alum commonly refers to potassium aluminum sulfate dodecahydrate, or potash alum, a colorless-to-white, crystalline compound. It is used in water purification, leather tanning, mordant dyeing, as an astringent, and in baking powder. It occurs in nature as the mineral kalunite. Sodium aluminum sulfate, or soda alum is also used in baking powder. Ammonium sulfate, or ammonia alum, is used in tanning, in dyeing and fireproofing textiles, in vegetable glues and porcelain cements, and in water purification.
Sodium hypochlorite-
Sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) is a compound that can be effectively used for water purification. It is used on a large scale for surface purification, bleaching, odor removal and water disinfection. It’s a clear, slightly yellowish solution with a characteristic odor. Sodium hypochlorite has a relative density of is 1,1 (5,5% watery solution). As a bleaching agent for domestic use it usually contains 5% sodium hypochlorite. Due to the presence of caustic soda in sodium hypo chlorite, the pH of the water is increased. When sodium hypo chlorite dissolves in water, two substances form, which play a role in for oxidation and disinfection.

Take Care of the Equipment-
Inspect your pump and lubricate or replace any o-rings needing some extra attention. Now is also an excellent time to inspect your pool’s plumbing connections, and to visually inspect all of the other equipment:
- The filter
- The heater
- Lights
- Automation systems
